I am one of those who think it is somewhat ignorant not to believe there are other life forms out there. If space is indefinate, then there must be an indefinate number of chances that life will occur elsewhere, as it has here on earth. The U.S official investigation ”Project Blue Book” was closed in 1969 and the FAA ( Federal Aviation Administration ) attitude towards the subject is ”Who believes in UFOs? ”, according to ex-FAA official John Callahan. He claims a probe into a UFO seen over Alaska in 1987 was squelched. -”However, when I asked the CIA person: ‘What do you think it was?,’ he responded: ‘A UFO.’”When he suggested the government tell Americans about a UFO, the CIA official allegedly told him: ”‘No way, if we were to tell the American public there are UFOs they would panic.’”http://www.japantoday.com/jp/news/421472
So in order to protect the public from panicking they pretend to ignore it, they pretend it is not there. It is hard though to believe that so many people could be wrong, during 20 years, up until 1969 , Project Blue Book investigated a total of 12 618 cases.
For us believers the question then is more like,why are they visiting? I mean if they managed to get here in the first place, they would have to be much more intelligent than us humans anyway and why would they be interested in conversing with some lower evolved creatures? We watch sci-fi movies and get ideas of what an alien might look like..wouldn´t it be funny if the ”real” Jabba the hut turned up?
If I was an alien visiting earth, I would be rather pissed off for being ignored, a welcoming commitee is the least one could expect after having traveled so far..
